A few weeks ago, Rhylee's grandma reached out to me to capture some sports portraits of her granddaughter in the fall colors. As we began planning the session, I learned a litte bit about this awesome multi-sport athlete. I knew we'd be capturing her in her volleyball uniform, and also with her golf team attire, and I was so excited because the colors at the WVSDB were spectacular.
As the discussion evolved the week prior, we decided what was at first going to be just a quick sports session would end up being a sports session with a family mini squeezed in. I got to hang out with Rhylee's brother and parents, and we had a blast with the silly prompts and jokes. It was made even more special because it was the first session where my oldest daughter joined me as my assistant/second shooter. In this post, you'll see a few images where the Griffiths aren't looking at me...those images are Haedi's, and I couldn't be more proud!
To top it off, someone had strategically placed a golf cart in the most perfect spot for some golf portraits. Haedi pointed out and captured the prettiest sunflare, and while the image was out of focus a bit, I was able to recapture the spot. I think she's learning to chase light just like her momma...I could gush on that kid for days!
To Michele, Brittany, Rhylee, and the rest of the Griffith crew, I hope you love your images! Thank you for making the trek from Berkley Springs just to have a session with me! It means so much!
